Sometimes, the highlight of a newborn session can be capturing a sweet image of an older sibling. Usually around two years old (a notoriously stubborn independent age), big siblings are not always thrilled to be still and gently hold their baby brother or sister for the nice photographer lady. But if I can pull them aside for a few moments while newborn baby is taking a feeding or changing break, we just capture something wonderful. And that makes a happy me, and a happy mom.
