Baby Landon did a first birthday smash cake at the end of his one-year photo session.
Meet Lucas. He is my husband’s mother’s husband’s brother’s daughter’s son. Did you catch all that? It doesn’t matter, really. He’s an energetic, independent, rock-throwing toddler boy, just like any other.
Except he’s wicked strong.
One day last April (at two years old) he was running a fever and acting sluggish.

Yes, I’m blogging holiday photos in February. But I couldn’t deny you the cuteness of these two little beauties. Such sweet, sweet girls. The little one reminds me SO much of my Max – but prettier, of course. Love those curls! And her striped tights are too cool. And big sister is such a smart, sweet girl. She even gave me an unsolicited hug at the end of our session. (BIG SMILE!) We really did have a blast during our session, and I am crossing my fingers that I get to see them again sometime this year.
