On the way back to Dallas last weekend, we stopped at Blueberry Hill Farms<\/a> so our city kids could see a “real farm” and pick their own blueberries. It was insanely hot, as it typically is in July in Texas at 1pm, and therefore a bit trying on our patience at times. But all in all, it was a lot of fun, and I’m glad we took the chance to add that experience to the weekend.<\/p>\n

We tried a few different blueberry jams, as is evident on Max’s face. \u00a0We picked our own blueberries (translation: Steven and the boys picked blueberries; I took photos). \u00a0And, we scored some fresh blueberry lemonade for the road to Plano, TX.<\/p>\n
