So after (way too much) <a title=\"hmmm | contemplating a daily photo project\" href=\"http:\/\/zoedphotography.com\/blog\/hmmm-contemplating-a-daily-photo-project\/\">consideration<\/a>,\u00a0I finally decided\u00a0 to take the leap.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve given some thought to the variations&#8230; A photo a week, a set of photos every month, a theme of some kind, a limit on which lens to use&#8230;. But I&#8217;ve basically decided that the rules are <strong>there are no rules<\/strong>. Because for <em>me<\/em>, this project is about discovery and practice and connecting with photography outside of client sessions.\u00a0 It&#8217;s about gut feel, not guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>So my &#8220;un&#8221; rules for this daily photo project:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>photos do not have to be images of my own children, or even of human beings. (Although most probably will be of my sons.)<\/li>\n<li>they do not have to be processed like to my usual images<\/li>\n<li>they do not have to be good<\/li>\n<li>they do not have to be compostions, tones, moods or anything else according to what I think other people would like<\/li>\n<li>they do not have to be shared (to keep me from stressing about breaking rules\u00a03 and 4)<\/li>\n<li>they do not have to follow any of my general <a title=\"my rules | photography tips\" href=\"http:\/\/zoedphotography.com\/blog\/my-rules-photography-tips\/\">rules of thumb<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Here are a few of my first images. (July 1 ended up on another CF card that has yet to be uploaded.
